The song
"Dream Weaver" came out when I was in high school. It has continued to
be a soothing, calming song, one that helps every time I hear it on the
radio.
The concept of a Dream Weaver as a place, a person, a train which will "take away my worries of today, and leave tomorrow behind," a person who you can believe in to "get me through the night," provides a way of holding on, helping one to get through dark times, of hoping and dreaming "to "forget today's pain" until you reach the morning light. I can only imagine how many people it has helped survive, in the 20 years since it was written. It is shared here, to help you reach the morning light. |
I've just
closed my eyes again
Dream Weaver
Fly me
high through the starry skies
Dream Weaver
Thought
the dawn may be coming soon
Dream Weaver
