Light a special candle on Birthdays, Anniversaries and Holidays.
A beautiful suggestion, and symbolic of the change, have wedding rings melted down and redesigned as another ring, a pin or a pendant. This way you have the memory of what was, with the symbolism of the change.
Hold a party on their birthday, or as a recent T.V. Dateline show on Holidays and Healing suggested, Holding a birthday party at the Cemetary.
Create handprints (if possible) for 'holding.'
Stuff an old T-shirt.
