Information contained in or made available through Journey of Hearts is not meant to replace or
substitute for the services of trained professionals including, but not limited to, medicine, psychiatry,
counseling, bereavement specialists, or clergy. Additionally this information is not intended to diagnose
or treat health problems. Information on the Journey of Hearts website is designed to support, not
replace, the relationship that exists between a site visitor and his/her physician, healthcare provider,
therapist, counselor or clergy member. In particular, site visitors should regularly consult a doctor in all
matters relating to physical or mental health, particularly concerning any symptoms that may require
diagnosis or medical attention. We recommend that site visitors consult their physician or health

Information is provided for educational purposes
only which has been made available to aid in understanding the grief process
and assessing whether or not professional services may be necessary. The
resources on the Journey of Hearts site are provided for our visitors on
search of more information on grief, loss, bereavement, depression,
suicide or a particular diseases.

Hearts materials can be downloaded for educational, personal or noncommercial

medical, mental or health related e-mails or provide online consultations
to visitors of this site. These consultations need to occur with a local

loss. To the best of our knowledge the external links on the Journey of
Hearts sites are legitimate, reputable, and informative resources. The
sites have been carefully selected, recommended by colleagues or visitors
to the site and reviewed for inclusion in the Journey of Hearts database
of web resources.
Although the linked sites or services were initially
reviewed, we do not control the contents or links that appear on these
sites. In addition, these sites or services, including their contents and
links, may be constantly changing, websites may redesign their sites so
that information links become rapidly outdated. Due to the current controversy
